We’ll meet you at your hotel or departure point downtown and head off northwest Cusco by road. The first stop is at the impressive Maras salt ponds, consisting of up to 5,000 pools fed by a hypersaline underground spring. This is definitely a must-see and the idyllic place to take some photos with the reflecting white scenery in the background. The place also includes a small market to sample the wide range of products made up of different types of salt. Taste some before heading to the next spot.
You’ll be then taken on an off-road path to Moray, a beautiful enclave that is believed to be served as an agricultural laboratory during the Inca period. Prepare your questions as you’ll be able to explore the main crater which is filled with various circular terraces that overlap at different altitudes. Along with your Guide, you’ll uncover the enigmas and insights of this beautiful place, before driving back to Cusco. Drop-off at Plaza San Francisco at 14:30 pm approx.
